Guide to Farming for beginners Empty Guide to Farming for beginners

I have had a good amount of people ask me about Farming, So i'm making a guide. Pictures are going to be added later, even though they are not needed at all...

( Before you state anything about seed types, I'll be making another guide on the best experience per type of seed to get you to 99 Farming )

- To start your Farming experience, Trade Bob at home.
- Buy 6 Guam seeds, 6 marrentill seeds, and 9 tarromin seeds. You don't need to buy more than this if you don't want to. I'm just aiming at saving you money. (Note: these sell for 1k per, I believe)
- Click the skill teleport, and go to "Farming".
- You're going to at the farming area in Catherby. You'll quickly notice that only 1 patch is functional. I believe it's the flower patch.
- Plant your Guam seed in, and then pick the flower. Identify the herbs, and gain Herblore experience. (Note: you can drop these herbs at any time, or you can bank them south in the Catherby bank)
- Once you have finished your 1.5-2 inventory full of Guams, move onto Marrentills.
- Repeat the simple process with planting, etc. Go through tarromin, and then go on from there.
- Farming is really simple, but it can be boring.

- YOU ARE NOT EVER GOING TO CHANGE PATCHES!

(Please note that Farming can lead to extreme boredness, causing irritation to the brain, and neck whilst performing the planting option).

a tip to add that i found helpful is its faster to press the home teleport to go to draynor to bank, but then telly right back to the farm patches
